If we’ve managed other surrogacy or egg donor journeys for you in the past, you’ll notice that our platform has a new look and feel. It is much more mobile-friendly and offers additional viewing options and features that make your experience much more intuitive.
I’d like to take this opportunity to walk you through a very short demonstration to provide you with the information that will help you find things quickly while you are logged into your account.
The whole point of giving you access to the online HIPAA-compliant platform is to offer you full transparency into your escrow funds and all of the disbursements associated with them. You can log on 24/7, and therefore, you never have to wait for a 30-day statement. You also have access to dedicated legal managers who have a great deal of experience and knowledge around your specific case.
Let’s dive into what you will gain access to when you log onto your account on the SeedTrust Escrow platform:
- Your dashboard will provide you with a lot of information to start.
- You will be able to reach out to the dedicated team at SeedTrust. They will be able to answer any of your questions related to your escrow account.
- You can easily see your ledger balance along with the scheduled payments that are due to be paid out automatically and based on what you agreed to in the direct agreement with your surrogate.
- Another helpful new feature is the next scheduled payment call-out on the right side.
- You’ll notice in the center you have access to your full ledger. You can download this anytime and save it as a file on your computer.
- All of the Disbursement requests associated with your account are displayed at the bottom. You can click the eyeball icon to take a look at the specifics of each request. If there are attachments associated, those will be attached.
- If you have disbursement requests to submit, you may do so by clicking on this blue button. You may use your escrow account to pay for things like attorney’s, agency, clinic, and many other fees associated with your journey. By doing so, you will have a full accounting ledger when your journey is complete.
- You will also have easy access to your scheduled payment calendar. Your dedicated SeedTrust legal manager will prepare this once your direct agreement is uploaded and your surrogate’s pregnancy is confirmed. Having access to your calendar items will clarify when your surrogate is due to be paid her compensation and other items scheduled to be paid on a date or stage and are clearly stated in your GSA/direct agreement.

You can see that you have access up at the top to your:
- Disbursement request
- Ledger
- All of the documents that pertain to your account
- You can even fund via credit card on the platform. Please note that a 3.5% convenience fee will be charged if you choose to fund in that manner.
- Your escrow agreement is always available to view
- You can upload your surrogacy agreement if your agency hasn’t already done so.
